Shepherd's Purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris) is a member of the mustard family and is a white-flowered, weedy annual with flat, heart-shaped pods that grows abundantly in most parts of the world. The leaves and stems are sometimes used for herbal medicinal purposes, especially to stop bleeding. Shepherd's Purse is available as a dried herb and as a liquid extract.
