The card security code is a unique three or four digit number, separate from your credit card number. Your security code can be found in the following locations on the following cards:

Visa/MasterCard/Discover Your card security code for your MasterCard, Visa or Discover card is a three-digit number on the back of your credit card, immediately following your main card number.

American Express card The card security code for your American Express card is a four-digit number located on the front of your credit card, to the right of your main credit card number. If your security code is missing or illegible, please call the bank or credit card establishment referenced on your card for assistance.

Propolis is the resinous substance collected by bees from the leaf buds and bark of trees, especially poplar and conifer trees. Bees use the propolis, along with beeswax, to construct their hives. Propolis is available in liquid extract form as well as in capsules and tablets. Topical creams and sprays containing propolis also are available, but whether they closely resemble topical propolis products used in research is unclear. Propolis has antibiotic activities that help the bee hive block out viruses, bacteria, and other organisms. Commercial preparations of propolis appear to retain these antibiotic properties, according to test tube studies. Research has shown that propolis has antioxidant, liver protecting, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties. Propolis contains protein, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and flavonoids. For this reason, some people use propolis as a general nutritional supplement, although it would take large amounts of propolis to supply meaningful amounts of these nutrients. Propolis has been suggested as an herbal treatment or supplement in connection with the following conditions:

  • Cervicitis (topical use)
  • Common cold
  • Genital herpes (topical use)
  • Parasites
  • Rheumatoid arthritis (topical)
  • Cold sores (topical)
  • Dental caries (topical)
  • Periodontal disease (topical)
