I agree with Dan. There is little you can do to help someone who is battling addiction. I suppose you could host an intervention, but those don't always work. If you give in to your friend and help them with money and a place to stay or whatever, you will be feeding the addiction. Your friend needs to hit a "bottom" in order to realize that they have to change. Also, once your life is at its bottom, you can look back on that time when you are sober and it will help ensure that you don't go down that road again. MORE...
