Comfrey

Can I use comfrey on my arthritis?

I have osteoarthritis in my hands, at the knuckle between my hand and my fingers. It is really sore. I have heard about comfrey for my arthritis, but I just don't want to do anything to my hand that could make it hurt more.

RE: Can I use comfrey on my arthritis?

I do all the time! I have a bad knee that may have some arthritis in it and I always use comfrey before I start my workouts. It help my knee feel better so I can work out longer. Also great for long walks! If you are worried that it will hurt your MCP joint (metacarpal phalange joint) talk to your doctor first, but I have never had any problems.
