Healer says syrup can help cure cancer

Can you cure cancer by mixing two natural substances? Some proponents of controversial folk healer Jim Kelmun say yes, you can. The two substances are maple syrup and baking soda.
Kelmun says he discovered the odd combination after four of his sisters were stricken with breast cancer. The fifth sister, who never got breast cancer, said she was fond of mixing maple syrup and baking soda, heated over a low flame. Kelmun decided to try it on other cancers.
He reports that he has given the recipe to 200 cancer patients, and 185 of them lived an additional 15 years. Some of them had complete remissions.
Seems incredible … but if you look at the ingredients, maybe it’s possible. Pure maple syrup is full of antioxidants, able to reverse the damage of free radicals that destroy cells. Baking soda is very alkaline, which might help to reduce an acidic body condition.
The theory is that the sugar in the maple syrup feeds the tumor cells, which then unwittingly also consume the highly alkaline soda. Research has proven that alkaline conditions are unfavorable to tumor growth. So you can see how it MIGHT work.
Kelmun also recommends transdermal magnesium and iodine; Vitamin C; probiotics; regular sunshine; and pure water and clay treatments, as well as refraining from eating all processed carbohydrates and meat.
If you choose to try the maple syrup/baking soda cure, be sure to use only real, organic maple syrup—not Mrs. Butterworth’s—and only aluminum-free baking soda, such as Bob’s Red Mill brand.
Kelmun’s cancer-Fighting Syrup
3 parts organic maple syrup
1 part aluminum-free baking soda
Combine syrup with baking soda and mix well. Heat over very low heat (not more than 120 degrees) for about 10 minutes, until mixture bubbles but does not burn. Be careful not to scorch the maple syrup, which will make it taste awful.
To fight cancer, take 3 teaspoons per day for up to two months. As a cancer preventive, take a teaspoon of the mixture every day.
